Damaged Nerves In Feet, Numbness, Stiffness, Unable To Stretch. Had Spinal Cord Stimulator Implanted In Back. Are They Related?

I have damaged nerves in my feet and now they hurt all the time and my whole foot is getting numb oh me and my feet feel so stiff and it hurts to stretch my feet. I keep trying exercises but does not help. I had the Spinal Cord Stimulator implanted in my back on May 8th of 2012 and it is not helping. This has been going on for several years. I cannot take any of the NSAIDS for relief. I am losing my balance a lot because of the numbness, is there anything that can be done to help me?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, it appears that there is pressure on the nerves supplying the feet, on their way to the foot in the spine, foramen ovale, due to connective tissue around the spinal cord stimulator or other wise. So i advise you to consult your neurologist for diagnosis and treatment. I to my patient prescribe neurotropic injections, for 10 consecutive days along with the routine medicines. Thank you.
