Could Stopped Periods After Removal Of Implanon Indicate Onset Of Menopause?
Hello, I am a 47 yr old female. I had my implanon implant removed last July and resumed periods at the end of the following October. However, now I haven t had a period since middle of Jan, so overdue. Wondering if I have started the menopause? Thank you.
hi there thanks for posting your query at Hcm As you have rightly described that you are are entering the perimenopausal phase But we must not forget to rule out pregnancy even at this stage So you must atleast undergo a urinary pregnancy test Inthis phase there are periods of amennorrhea with polymennorhea in some females But in all cases a gynecological consult is mandatory Take care
