Could Red, Itchy Patch With Smelly Yellow Pus With Scabs Between Buttocks Be Bacterial Infection?
i have a red itchy patch just above the anus between my buttocks. the patch is about 10cm wide and 5 cm high. there seems to be some smelly yellowy puss, it has now formed scabs but there are still a few pus-filled pimples. could this be a cold-sore/herpes, or perhaps some sort of bacterial infection?

According to your complaints it seems to fungal infection. Apply Clotrimazole cream on the affected area twice daily for 2 weeks.
