Could Drop In Temperature During Nights Be Due To Swine Flu?

my daughter has swine flu, she is 10 months old, she has suffered from very high temperatures getting up to 40, she is now much better. my concern is in the night when she is sleeping her body temperature drops to 35, i have warmed the room and covered her with 2 blankets, she doesent get above 35.8, is this one of the symptoms of swine flu or is it normal for your body temp to drop so much when you are sleeping?.

Pediatrician, Pulmonology 's  Response
Hi,

I understand your concern. But in swine flu the temperature reduction is not related to sleep pattern. I feel that incidentally the sleep and the reduction of temperature are both coinciding.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
