Could Delay In Periods Indicate Pregnancy?

I normally have a period every two weeks, and I haven't had one since April 10th. I have been noticing pregnancy symtoms and around the time of my last period I missed a few birth control pills. I took a test two nights ago, and I didn't pee enough on the stick but the test said it worked and it was negative. Could I still be pregnany.

Hi there, I have understood your your concern. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

1 ) First of all do not panic.
It is important to note ray birth control pills need to be taken regularly to be effective. Missing the pills can lead to pregnancy.

2 ) As you have mentioned that your urine pregnancy test is negative, then you can assume that you are not pregnant.
In case of doubt blood beta HCG test and USG will be of help.

3 ) All the symptoms that you are getting can be attributed to pregnancy unless there is confirmed diagnosis of pregnancy.

4 ) If you are not pregnant then your can simply wait for the onset of periods or induce the periods with progesterone tablets. Your treating doctor can guide you further about the doses and withdrawal bleeding of the same.

5 ) Even if you are pregnant, you can opt for termination of the pregnancy with medicines safely till 9 weeks of pregnancy under medical supervision or you can opt to continue with the pregnancy.

I hope this answer helps you. Thanks. .
