Could Blood Clotting Product After Heavy Bleeding Due To D&C Indicate A Problem?

I had a pulmonary embolism after having a miscarriage and D&C. I know during the rocedure I was bleeding a lot and they had to give me a blood clotting product to stop the bleeding. Could that cause the blood clotting? My INR before surgery was 0.9 and I the lupus anticoagulant is not detected in my last test. I just want to know if this was a one time deal because of the surgery? Thanks, Gina

Hi, dear.
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. Your pulmonary embolism may be due to blood clotting products. Your inr is also low. You are still at high risk. So you should take warferrin to prevent further attack. It is prescription based medicine so consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly. Also check your inr regularly.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
