Could Bleeding Be Due To Skipping Of Placebos Pills?
I'm on birth control (Sprintec) and I decided a few months ago that I wanted to switch to a different pill with a 90 days supply so I wouldn't have to get my period. I tried making an appointment with my doctor in December, but the secretary that answered said I wasn't due for an appointment until April and wouldn't let me schedule. So I talked to a pharmacist about the pills I'm on and she said that I should be fine skipping the placebo pills at the end of the month and just taking the regular blue pills. So that's what I've been doing since early December. For the past month and a half, I've been bleeding a little bit each day, some days a lot. I read around and I know that isn't normal. Is that happening because I'm skipping the placebos? Or could there be something else wrong with me?
