Could Abnormal TSH Level Result In Dry Skin, Weight Gain And Tiredness?
I just had my thyroid tested. I am always tired, gaining weight, dry skin and hair. I was tested by a Nurse Practitioner in the OBGYN Clinic in my hometown. My TSH level was 2.39. I this a go range? I have heard that they have changed it and this might be high?
Hi You have symptoms of hypothyroidism but your TSH level is in the normal range (0.4-4.0).My advice is to repeat all TSH but this time to ask even free T3 and free T4.If all this tests are normal, this means that your symptoms are not due to any thyroid condition.
