Could A Delayed Period With Soreness And Pain Be A Pregnancy?

hi, i am currently 21 years old and my breaks are sore and hurt like im about to enter a period but my period is two days late. my boyfriend and i had intercourse 2 and a half weeks ago and we used a condom and we didnt check closely but we assumed it didnt break. i am working a camp that has long 15 hour days and i am stressed. i am paranoid and i just wanted to know if i am just having a late period or if im pregnant. thank you so much.

Hi there, I have understood your concern. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

1 ) First of all do not panic.

2 ) As you have mentioned that you had safe and protected sex activity, chances of getting pregnant are almost nil.

3 ) if you have regular cycles, and now you have crossed your dates and also getting some breast pain, then I will suggest you to get morning's first sample of urine tested for pregnancy.
In case of doubt blood beta HCG test and USG will be of help.

4 ) Only breast symptoms can't be considered as a sign of the pregnancy. You need to confirm the diagnosis by above mentioned method.

5 ) Even if you are pregnant, you can opt for termination of the pregnancy with medicines safely till 9 weeks of pregnancy under under medical supervision .

7 ) If you are not pregnant then your simply wait for the onset of periods or induce the periods with progesterone tablets. Your treating doctor can guide you further about the doses and withdrawal bleeding of the same.
