Coughing Fit, Severe Throat Pain Below Adam S Apple, Soreness, Small Bump, Hurts While Swallowing. Suggestions?
I had a bad coughing fit while In was bent over, it resulted in a severe pain in my throat slightly below my Adams Apple on the right. The pain originally hurt from the top of my throat to the top of my collarbone on the right side. Now, there's a soreness and a small bump that feels like cartilage or something. It's sore to the touch and hurts swallowing, tilting my he'd back, and sometimes talking/ or changing voice pitches.

It could be because of coughing that you have trauma in throat most probably at level of vocal cords.
you can do--
Steam inhalations
Voice rest
Take lukewarm liquids
Take care of reflux from stomach or Acidity
Take non spicy and non oily meals
do not smoke / drink alcohol
Avoid Hawking
do not whisper speak less and normally
It must settle down in 7 days .If not then consult an ENT specialist and get yourself examined.
If you do not take care at this moment pain may increase.
Get well soon.
