Cold, Cough With Mucus, Unable To Taste Or Smell. On Antibiotics For Sinus Infection. Suggest
Hello. I had a bad sore throat and cold last weekend. Then, I thought it turned into a sinus infection, so my Dr. prescribed antibiotic, which I am in day 2 of taking. My head has cleared up a lot and I feel almost normal- except for I still cannot smell or taste much of anything. Smell has come back a little since last weekend but not all of the way, And I cannot taste a darn thing. Getting frustrated. I still am blowing my nose and coughing up mucus .

well in sinus infection it takes a lil time to get back the smell.u can also try anti allergens like cetrizine group of drugs and use topical decongestant to smell or taste better.
hot steam inhalation with medication alos works well to remove congestion.byeee
