Child With Pain In The Left Ear. Whitish Substance Formed. High Fever, Vomiting. Treatment?

My 2.5 year daughter is complaining that her left ear is hurting. When I looked inside, it is a little red, but also looks like there is something white-ish inside. (Almost looks like there is wet toilet paper in it-best way to describe what I'm seeing). I cant tell what it is. This could be comepletly seperate, but she did have a high fever (103.2) accompanied by vomitting over the last 24 hours.

Hi,

Thank you for your query.

Middle ear infection can be the cause of pain in your daughter's left ear. However it is too early for any discharge to occur. She may also be having wax collection which may have swollen up and causing the pain. I suggest that you get her ear examined by your doctor and then take the appropriate steps.
