Hello,
Let us go one step at a time.
I think you need not worry, provided your child is active, playing and gaining weight
6 yr old boy having colic and vomiting many times during a week
At any times vomiting green or yellow meaning there is stomach inflammation.
Fever at any time more than 104 degree farenheit.
Fever more than 104 is high and less than 102 is low. If after giving paracetamol if the temperature comes down and the childs activity goes up means it is most probably ordinary fever.
Colic: Abdomen pain is described as colic. And characterstic feature is waxing and waning. It comes, makes the child suffer and then the child is back to normal. If the pain persists for more than 3 minutes we can pay attention.
Look at his urine. If it is brown in colour, then it may be jaundice. If there is pain or burning sensation while passing urine then it can be urinary infection. Hope his penis opening is visible. That means you can pull down his fore skin back and the penis hole coalled urethral meatus should be visible. These also can cause abdominal pain.
Look at his motion
Does he pass immediately after food? Does passing of motion relives his abdominal pain? Is he passing a lot of flatus ? Is the motion foul smelling ? Or Is there constipation?
When did you medicines for worms last? Ideally deworming should be done once in six months.
Look at his life style
1.     Does he eat lot junk food, potato chips, fried chicken etc Particularly bought from shops?
2.     Is he in the habit of putting dirty hand into his mouth?
3.     Is he consuming unboiled water or taking cool drinks from shops?
4.     Does he appear frightened. There is some connection between colic and unexpressed fears.
If you can take care of these things, there shouldn’t be much problem.
Always record the dates on which he falls sick and maintain a diary of drugs you are using.
As far the lab tests they are not significant.
With regards
