Child Has Lump In Neck, Wheezing, Not Eating. Worried

I have a 2 year old and he has a marble size lump on the left side of his neck that moves around. He hasnt been eating well for a while, he had some wheezing going on with a runny nose at times. The Dr said that is just a bug going around. He also has one about an inch above his belly button that the Dr said it could be a hernia or cyst . Im just worried outta my mind...

Hi

The one in his neck is likely to be a lymph gland.
Due to repeated infections in the upper respiratory tract- lymph glands are swollen normally in kids.
If its small, mobile and painless, you need not worry.

Regarding the swelling above his belly button- please visit a Pediatric Surgeon and get his opinion too.
Umbilical hernias are common in kids and nothing much is done.
But epigastric hernia (in the region between his belly button and chest) needs to be repaired.

If its superficial in the region below the skin- then its likely to be a cyst. A visit to a Pediatric Surgeon will sort out the issues.
