Child Complains Head Hurts While Running. Should I Take Her To The Doctor?Could This Be Adult Teeth Cutting?

Hi. My 10 year old daughter complains that the left side of her head hurts when she runs. When asked how long this has been bothering her, she says a week or so. She never usually complains about aches and pains as she plays tennis 3 days a week. Should I take her to the doctor? or could this be her adult teeth cutting?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi and thanks for the query,
I suggest the child might deserve a complete physical examination by her doctor.
Headaches of acute onset might have different causes. Other symptoms might be obtained during the clinical evaluation that the child might not actually be able to express.
Simple blood tests like a full blood count and markers of inflammation shall be important in ruling an infectious cause and ascertaining blood hemoglobin levels.
I suggest you take an appointment with your primary care physician, or if possible, your pediatrician.
thanks and best regards,
Luchuo, MD.
