Chest Pain, Dizziness, Sweating. Had Cardiac Stents Placed. Post Cardiac Stent Symptoms?

My father had two cardiac stents placed about 1 1/2 weeks ago, earlier this am he was having chest pain and took a nitro which he says helped. He just had an episode where he said he felt dizzy cold and sweaty, his bp was 147/74 pulse 72 taken on the left wrist with auto bp. He said he took another nitro went to the bathroom had a bowel movement washed his face and says hes feeling better. Rechecked his bp and its now 113/67 pulse 71. Are these common symptoms post cardiac stents, what is he experiencing, and does he need to seek ER care?

Hi!. Thanks for your query. Usually post Stenting the chest pain may not be due to cardiac reason. But as you have mentioned that he gets relief with Nitro it is better to go to ER and get a EKG done and follow the further advice.
