Chest discomfort due to flu. Cause of sound?
I caught the flu yesterday and I m through the aching, fever , dizziness , chills part. Now it seems to be mainly in my chest . When dozing off throughout the day I would hear a marching band drum beating in my head. I d wake up to see what was making that sound and it would of course disappear. I ve never had this with the flu that I can remember. Do you know what this drum sound could be about? I m not too congested. I can still breathe in and out of my nose. Thanks for any input.

your drum like sound is due to infection of respiratory tract which is increases upto your ear drum.
you should take cefpodoxime 200 mg tablet twice daily for 5 days.
use paracetamol plus ibufpren combination thrice daily for fever.
use warm water for drinking
