Carotid Arteries On Neck, Calcium Below Heart, High Cholesterol And BP. Solution?

My brother is 58 and has corroded arteriies on both sides of his neck, one of which they can't operate. But now he has a calcium buildup below his heart. He also has high cholesteral and blood pressure. What is happening and can anything solve his problem. He has had the latter for a while but the calcium on the heart is new. What is the answer if there is one. He will not talk to me about it.

Dear Sir
1. The block in arteries of neck is tackled by medicines in most of the cases unless the patient has some symptoms or trouble. It can be tackled by surgery or angioplasty also.
2. He definitely have to take care for his blood pressure and high cholesterol. Both of them require medicines and / or life style modification.
3. Calcium in arteries of heart indicates more probability of anginal heart disease but relation ship is not absolute. He need to control his risk factors only which include smoking, BP and cholesterol.
