Can vaginal trauma cause a delay in your period? Unfortunatly i have a rather irregualr cycle as it is, but recently i had an encounter that caused a lot of vaginal trauma- lots of tears inside and outside my vagina, swelling, and in general a lot of pain. It happened about a week ago just about the same time my period was due to happen. About 3 weeks ago i took 3 day monistat for what I thought or think was a yeast infection due to cottage cheese like oderless discharge. it cleared it up until recently. Its painful to urinate and im starting to have slight discharge again. Also about the time i started having painful urination i started haveing back pain (mid back, sort of where my kidneys are). can this affect the delay in period also? im 19, 6ft 1in, 145lb.
