Can Swelling And Tightness Of Knee Be A Side Effect Of Cortisone Injection?

Hi, I had a cortisone injection in my left knee in July. I seemed to have a bad reaction to it as I was I tremendous pain afterward. However, since that time, I have tightness and swelling in my knee whenever I am on my feet for an extended period. Any thoughts?

Hi
Thanks for writing your query
After going through your query the swelling and tightness are the symptoms of arthritis and has nothing to do with the injection cortisone.
My advice would be do regular knee exercises along with ibuprofen and trypsin/chymotrysin to reduce pain and swelling.
Take care
