Can Pressure Of Herniated Disc On The Nerve Cause Thyroid Issues?

I am a 36 years old woman. Almost at the same time I had the symptom of hypothyroidism and herniated disc (C5-C6) about 4 years ago. Although my thyroid hormones was normal at that time and R factor was negative, I had pain in the joints, fatigue, hair loss, constipation, irritable, being more sensitive to cold, hypo-tension, feeling tiredness in my muscles, brittle nails.... , after 2 years acanthosis nigricans in one of my armpit, little by little memory problem, depression. I had an car accident 6 years ago. And the herniated disc had pressure in the middle and both right and left sight of the nerve. So I had severe pain in my muscles around the neck and pinching in my arms. After using neck collar and resting for 3-4 weeks, the severe pain has gone. But the slightly spasm in the muscle around the neck is remained. Recently my TSH has elevated (8.3) and T4 is normal and serum thyroid auto-antibodies is negative. My question is: Is it any possibility the pressure of herniated disc on the nerve cause the problem for the thyroid or responsible for hypothyroid?
