Can Prednisone Cause Headache, Rash And Blurred Vision?

My husband has been taking prednisone for an MS flareup ...he has a rash on his feet and his vision is slightly blurred and a headache, he was recently in the hospital with a bladder infection which resulted in some other complications...do you think he might be having an allergic reaction to the the prednisone? He is not able to move around very well at all, have not been able to make contact with our neurologist.

Hello
Prednisolone is a steroid drug and it is used for treatment of inflammatory conditions.
Blurred vision, rash and headache can be because of multiple sclerosis and optic neuritis itself.
Hence I would like to advise you to consult your doctor for treatment of multiple sclerosis and to consult eye doctor to look associated eye conditions which can cause blurring of vision like optic neuritis or steroid induced cataract.

Thank you
