Can Marvelon Intake Cause Blood Spots Instead Of Period?

i used marvelon for 3 month and then i stopped using it. after a month instead of my period i had spots for 6 days. is it a side effect of the pills or it means im pregnant? im 29 and i have a 1.5 years old doughter. i dont want another baby. (in my previous pregnancy i had spots just like this time)

Hi,

Spotting or irregular bleeding can occur on stopping contraceptive pill.It will normalise in the subsequent cycles. Incase you had intercourse in the last 2 weeks,you need to rule out pregnancy with an urine test.
