Can Losartan Cause Psoriasis To Worsen?
I was diagnosed with psoriasis several years ago. I also have asthma, for which I am on Xolair injections every two weeks with great improvement of my asthma. I also take Losartan for high BP. My psolriasis is mainly on my hands an I have tried numerous treatments without success. My question is can the Losartan cause my psoriasis to be worse or uncontrolled.

YES ,there have been case reports where LOSARTAN has caused a flare up of psoriasis.It can also cause other side effects of the skin like dermatitis, urticaria, dry skin and itching.
You can consult your physican and he will suggest you other medications like TELMISARTAN for your BP control.
