Can Intake Of Oral Contraceptives Affect A Gilbert's Syndrome Patient?

I am 43 years old, perimenopausal, and suffering from possible Adenomyosis, have had very painful periods/ovulation for a long time. My doctor has prescribed Minastrin-24 for relief. My question is, since I have Gilbert's Syndrome, can I take these oral contraceptives safely? (I am finding mixed answers regarding this online.)

Hi,

I have gone through your query.
Gilbert's syndrome as such don't require any treatment. Now your treating doctor has prescribed you Minastrin-24 (OCP) for Adenomyosis.
You can take oral contraceptives safely in Gilbert's syndrome. But regular check up of your bilirubin level should be done.
I assume that your treating doctor knows about your medical history.
