Can I Conceive Easily With Oral Medication?

hello doctor, i m geeta iyer, age - 33. i have only one left ovary which is polycystic.. my right ovary was removed 13 yrs back due to fibroid and i m also suffering from thyroid problem , i take thyronorm 50 mcg. it is under control now. i m planning to conceive and we hav been trying from lasst 5 months. i m told to tak clofert 50 and do a sonography. my cycle date is normal and i ve normal bleeding. i want to know in this condition whether i can conceive easily with oral medication or not.

Hi Geeta,
I hope your Thyroid function tests are normal now. Please continue to take Thyronorm and aim to keep your TSH below 2.5 as you are planning for pregnancy. I hope your doctor have done all essential work up including a prolactin level and blood glucose levels.You are now on Cloiphene citrate ( Clofert). There is a fair chance of pregnancy and please remember that this may take several cycles. DO regular exercise and keep your weight in healthy levels.
