Can Glyciphage SR 500 Be Consumed During Pregnancy?
Hi., I have PCOS and trying to conceive. I'm 32yrs old 5.3 feet height,55kg weight. I do not have diabetes . I have been prescribed Glyciphage SR 500 , 2 tablets per day by my gynaecologist. I would like to know if it is safe to continue this medicine even after I get pregnant and for hw long should I continue it.

Glucophage SR 500 mg prescribed by your OG specialist is included in the therapy for PCOS. Studies have shown the efficacy of Glucophage in treating PCOS together with hormonal therapy.
Once you will get pregnant, you should stop this drug immediately. Your doctor will ask that too.
