Can Costochondritis Cause Heart Palpitations?

ive been getting palpitations in my heart and also i have costochondiritis i went to the hospital all mt test came negative for a heart attack and was given antidepressent meds for my stress but doesnt help can this be something else or can just be costochondritis causing this heart palpitations?

If you have ruled out the cardiac causes of palpitation then it can be related to anxiety also.Some get palpitations by taking coffee,amphetamines,increase intake of tea or by smoking.If you are away from all those then anxiolytics and breathing exercises will help you to get relief.Constochondritis can be treated by local antiinflamatory gels or oral antiinflammatory drugs.Hope this may help you.
