Can Change In Testosterone Levels Cause Shrinking Of Testes?
Hi! My testes(both) appear to be smaller.Right testes has certainly shrunk.
Would this affect testesterone levels? My age is 65,and I maintain an active
physical exercise regime etc and have good muscular body even now. Of course
age is a factor, but is there any way to improve the testes-size problem above? Also
is it possible to improve testesterone levels with medicines..if so please prescribe.
Presume that with improved levels, the sexual urge would also raise to some level?
Thanks
Koy
A limited shrinking of the testicles is normal during the ageing process. As long as it is a slow and bilateral (both sides equally) process, it is nothing to worry about. Testosterone, especially “free testosterone” level decrease with age. But it has nothing to do with the size of your testicles. You can get your testosterone status checked by your GP.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
