Can Balance Issues Be Due To History Of Stapendectomy?

I had a hearing loss due to a fractured skull when I was around 8 years old. I had a stapendectomy in my late 20's and got some but not nearly all hearing back. I have always had ballance problems when tired before and after the surgery. Now I am being accused of DWI due to failure to stand on one leg and count to from 1 - One Thousand to 15 - One Thousand, ,as well as a toe to toe walk. I did not fail a breath test or eye coordination tests. Is it possible to prove that my ballance issues are related to my ear problems?

Balance issues can occur due to stapedectomy but coz u had them before surgery too it is difficult to prove the cause.. Get done other vertigo tests such as electoneuronography etc..
