hello.
my mother age is 45 yrs..
uterus size with cervix measures 8 X 6X5 cm.
after MRI..two fibroids are noted.
the dorsal myometrial fibroid is large measures about 6X 4.5 cms. and appears to be degenerating fibroid.
the fundal fibroid measures about 3.5X3 cms..
suggest smthng...

Fibroides are bening tumors of uterus.
Observation- If a fibroid uterus is "silent", and none of the symptoms are present, conservative observation is appropriate
You should see your doctor every six or twelve months for a check-up to make sure the fibroids haven't gotten bigger.
If you notice any unusual signs or symptoms talk to your doctor about your form of treatment .

please post the symptoms your Mother has.
These are large fibroid and may be causing some problems.
IT is advisable to go for hysterectomy if she is medically fit.
