Can Allergy Be The Cause For Swollen Tongue Which Is Not Getting Cured?

Hi...Abiout 5 months ago i got a allergic reaction to something and had a rash and itching..now i stopped eating nuts and fish and everything is fine...but about 2 months ago i got a swollen tongue and it wont go away..just wondering if its caused buy the allergic reaction or not.. thanks Monica

hello. the tongue can swell up in an allergic reaction, but it will not be persistent for 2 months. please meet your doctor if you are having difficulty in swallowing or speaking!. if there is no trouble then i think you can wait and watch for another 2 weeks. thanks
