Hi. My husband got pain through out his left leg from last one year.We checked with neurologist and according to them , his nerve has been dislocated while doing gyming(heavy lifting).He went through several seesion with Physio but nothing relieved him. When he does physio , he feels better but after sometimes pain come back again. Please advise me which doctor shoudl we refer.
It is necessary performing a lumbar spine MRI and nerve conduction studies in order to determine whether there is need for surgery. In the meantime, I recommend continuing physiotherapy.
