Can Microgynon Be Taken As Alternative For Emergency Pill?

I have been given microgynon pills from a friend
I am not in the daily pill or anything of the sort but I needed the emergency pill but didnt get one so she gave me a pack of her microgynon 30 pills as she is on the pill

Can i take these as an alternative for emergency pill?

If so, whats the process and how many do i take and in what time frames

I think i read somewhere to take 4 and then another 4 after 12hrs! I dont know if this is true as i would be worried to take 4 in one go

Please help!

Thanks for your query.
To use Microgynon as emergency contraception,
take four pills as soon as possible but within 120 hours of unprotected sex,
and four more pills 12 hours later.
Like other pills that contain levonorgestrel, Microgynon can be used as
the morning after pill.
You dont need to worry.
