Can Kevon Lotion Reduce The Hair Fall?

Hello doctor, I am a student of class 12th (age-18) and I am suffering from major hair loss. It s increasing day by day and my hair length is decreasing too. However my doctor advised me to put kevon lotion. I have been using it for 10 days and I see no effect. The hair fall still continues

Hi,

You may be having seborrheic dermatitis on the scalp (dandruff) which may be responsible for the hair loss. Kevon lotion contains ketoconazole which is antifungal and also reduces the dandruff. So, continue it to reduce the dandruff. Also use ketoconazole containing shampoo daily at bath to cleanse the scalp. Apply mild steroid lotion on the scalp once a day to stimulate the growth of hairs. Avoid stress and anxiety related to hairs. You may take biotin containing tablets for few months to improve the hair growth.
