Can IV For Pain And Infection Cause Light Vaginal Bleeding?

Post menopausal woman experiencing persistent, sliight vaginal bleeding for 1 1/2 days. Two weeks ago had chest pain on far left side of chest when I breathed. As a precaution, I went to the hospital. Was advised to stay overnight for observation. All blood testing was normal (e.g., liver, kidney function). Was given IV medication (for pain, and for possible infection) and CAT scan with contrast to rule out blood clot on lung. The conclusion was that I had gastritis (acid reflux), as no heart problem or other problem was found. Could all of this medication and/or medical procedures have promoted bleeding that I am just now seeing. Just want to know if what I am seeing could be a normal after-effect. Thank you.
