Can I Use Norethisterone When I Am Bleeding?

Hi, can I use norethisterone when already bleeding as I have starting taking it today to stop the bleeding which has been on going since middle of Feb. I go on my holidays on Thursday and I am getting anxious that it might not stop. I have had a ultra sound and probe to check if I have fibroid s but not received the results yet.

It is astonishing that you have tried any investigations or treatment for your continuous bleeding from Feb. middle. Now you are waiting for USG and trans vaginal probe result. Any continuous bleeding need not have associated pathlogy in the uterus (fibroid)
But anwhow we have to wait for the report. Now whatever may be the cause only option is Norethisterone (or norethindrone). Mean while correct you anemia if you have. A complete hormone anlysis is better. The drug Norethisterone will stop your bleeding before your holiday plans.
My advise is here after don't wait this long for any investigations and treatment.
