Hi,
Welcome to HCM.

HIV cannot survive outside the body or body fluids. Sweat and even urine of the infected person is not infective.

Bathing in swimming pool or a pond is not infective. So, bathing plug is also not at all infective. So not to worry and confuse yourself.

Tests for HIV are two types.
1.Antigen test - They become positive 3-4 weeks after the possible risky exposure.
2.Antibody test - They become positive 8-12 weeks after the contact.

There is nothing to worry for you and be happy.
