Can 50 Grams Of Atenonal And 40 Grams Of Lisinapril Medication Cause Odd Heartbeats?
I have high blood pressure which I take 50 grams of Atenonal and 40 grams of Lisinapril per day for. Today, I have been having an odd heartbeat all day. I felt a fluttering in my chest so I ve been taking my pulse and it s about 62 beats per minute, but it will beat at a rate of 1 beat per second for about 10 beats, then 3 - 4 quick beats, then back to 1 beat per second throughout the minute I take my pulse. Should I be concerned?

Yes, palpitations or sensation of irregular heart beats are always concerning. while both Atenolol and Lisinopril decrease blood pressure, Atenolol also slows down the heart rate.
You should follow up with your doctor and discuss your symptoms, get an EKG and if abnormal you may need to see a cardiologist for additional tests like a heart monitor which further evaluates for arrhythmias (irregular heart beats) or Sonogram of your heart which looks at the anatomy of your heart (the chambers and valves).
Its also a good idea to stay away from stimulants like caffeine and alcohol and make sure you are hydrating well with water.
