Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The burning pain and the stinging sensation is likely to be due to paresthesias. This can happen due to an electrolyte imbalance, thyroid disorder, vitamin B 12 deficiency, diabetes, etc. Simple blood test will help in detecting the cause.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
