Bulge Under Chest Bone With Moderate Pain, Pain In Middle Of Back When Stressed Out. MRI Normal. Thoughts?

i am 52 years old and devolped a bulg right below my chest bone about a year ago; doc. said it due to geting older( muscles going weak) then shortly after start to have moderate pain in the area above that and at the same time pain in middle of my back in the same area, it came on when under stress. over the course of a year the pain went from onset when stressed to constent. MRI showed nothing

may be hernia just check whether swelling comes out when u cough r sneeze if that stop smoking and consult surgeon for operation
