Broke My Back, X Ray Shows Outside Of Bone Was Healed, Hole Through Bone. Heals Completely?

I broke my back, back in February, and the last X Ray I had done showed the outside of my bone was healed, but when you looked at it through the middle you could see straight through my bone ( had a hole through my bone). I was just wondering if my back is still considered broke because of the hole I still have in my back and will the bone ever completely heal or will I have that hole there forever

Hi, the back is a vast area, it is not clear what part of the back is injured. I suppose it is the spine which had injury. As you describe it appears that the spine has a mal union, means union in the wrong position. Still it can hold the things in position, that is why the doctors have decided healed.
The hole may not be a problem, if you have no pain you can take it granted that it has healed. Thank you.
