Breathlessness After Doing Any Work, Chest Tightness, Headaches, Anxiety, Stress. Reason And Cure?

Hi, I am a 30 year old working professional. Since quite a good time I am feeling breathless after whatever I do. If I climb stairs or even talk to someone, I feel breathless. Most of the times, I have headaches and feel tightness or discomfort in the chest. Yes it gets increased by anxiety and stress, along with that in such situation I cough a lot too. I don’t have pain in my left arm or jaw and neither have I had any history of heart disease.

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your description and am almost sure that you are doing well. You are just 30 and you have a lot of splendid life left and you should be successful. There is no room unnecessary thoughts which make you mentally sick.

As there is no previous problem of any cardiac illness or lung disease or blood deficiencies, there is nothing to worry. Chest tightness also comes due to acid reflux which makes us anxious and we feel breathless.

Exercise or working alone cannot give you breathlessness, but associated anxiety that something might happen to you surely makes you breathless.

Therefore, first confirm with a general physician that you are physically perfect. Then consult a psychologist for further advice.

Hope I am able to give you a good reply. Can contact me for further queries.
Good luck
