Breathing Suddenly Stopped, Followed By Cold Chills. EKG Abnormal, Feels Weak And Sleepy. Suggest?
Lately, I have been having some concerns with my heart. Just yesterday, while I was laying down I suddenly felt as my heart stopped followed by a cold chill run through my body. I couldn't breath and it just felt so weird. It didn't hurt but the fact that my breathing suddenly stopped for a few seconds, scared me. I decided to go to my doctor right away where I found out that my EKG came back abnormal. I have been feeling very tired and I can't seem to find the energy to workout. I just got back from a short walk at the park. A few minutes after exercising I began to feel extremely sleepy. So much so I yawned a good 20 times. What could possibly be wrong with me? I'm 24 and I have Always been fit.

Hi, it appears that you have gastric hyperacidity, as there is abnormality, in a fit person, may be due to the tachycardia due to to anxiety of the feeling of the heart problem. Anxiety of life, or some thing else can cause temporary tachycardia.

ECHOcardiogram is necessary to see the heart valves (Mitral Valve Prolapse) / heart muscle (Cardiomyopathy) and heart function (Ejection fraction, wall motion abnormality) / clots...
LABORATORY work-up – may also be necessary for further assessment and assistance.
You may even need Electro Physiological Studies (EPS)
The treating doctor may suggest them depending on need, based on his assessment of the situation.
