Hi,

Thank you for your query,

As they are stray dogs, there are high chances of having rabies virus.

So you have to complete the full schedule of 5 doses of antirabies vaccination on 0, 3, 7, 14, and 28 days.

And one thing it is not possible to observe the stray dog for the first 10 days from the bite, you complete the 5 doses of antirabies vaccination.

The available antirabies vaccines are very safe and there are no side effects in comparision to the old injections.

So consult your Physician and take vaccination as per the schedule.

Hope I have answered your query.

Hi
Thanks for your query,
Rabies is a fatal disease.
Take complete vaccine as per schedule day 0,3,7,14 and 28.
Stray dogs cannot be observed also for 10 days.
So get yourself vaccinated by doctor or health care professional.

Wishing you good health.
God bless

hi
thanks for writing to healthcare magic

not just 2 shots of rabies vaccine are left

you will have to have vaccine on day 0,3,7,14,28 days as well.

there should not be any neglect in this

so completion of vaccination helps you in another way also

next time if you are bit by a dog etc.......you need to take only 3 doses of vaccine

so consult your doctor for further completion of vaccine

hope this helps

take care
