Hello, your recent onset acute headaches and body pain with the coexisting burning during urination suggests a urinary tract infection. Having had prolonged periods, hence the need to use sanitary napkins for long could have led to this infection too! Meet your physician and get a urine culture done . Your prolonged periods seems to be the primary reason for all this and so do not stop with treating this urinary infection. And anaemia due to the prolonged bleeding is a strong factor precipitating all other infections. You have to undergo a battery o tests to see why you are having a prolonged bleeding. Anaemia itself , bleeding and clotting abnormalities, hormonal imbalances, thyroid disorders, ovarian or uterine abnormalities, can cause pronged bleeding. So you ll be asked to get done all the routine
Blood and urine investigations, coagulation profile, ultrasound abdomen and thyroid function tests to arrive at the exact reason for your prolonged bleeding. Drink plenty of water and citrus fruit juices. Take care
