Baby Had Fever, Vomitting. Not Eating Properly, Sleeping Most Of The Time. Passing Yellow Diarrhoea. Reason?
9month old baby girl, 17lbs. Had a fever and was throwing up last Saturday through Sunday. Slept most of Sunday. Monday-today(4days) she has kept food down and has had no fever. However, she has been lethargic, has yellow seedy diarrhea , and sometimes gags like she is going to throw up after feedings. Is she just taking a while to get over the sickness? Hasn t really played with toys and can only stay up for about 20-30 mins before she is fussy and ready to sleep again.

Baby having diarrhea with fever ,and being lethargic need immediate attention as she may be suffering from infective diarrhoea . A proper dose of antibiotic along with probiotics and zinc may be helpful meanwhile look for signs of dehydration and give oral re hydration solution with help of a pediatrician.
