Are There Any Side Effects Of Using Nicotine Patches?

Hi. Over the last week or so i have been using nicotine patches during the day, taking them off in the afternoon and smoking in the evening and morning. Is there any serious side effects of this? I'm obviously not smoking nearly as much as i was without the patch during the day and don't plan on using this method forever.... is this slightly more better for my health?

Side effects are:Abnormal dreams, redness, itching or burning at the site, difficulty in sleeping.
Severe allergic reactions, vision problems, severe headache, swelling or persistent (more than 3 days) redness at site, vomiting, irregular heartbeat etc.
Please avoid smoking during therapy.
If itching or irritation, avoid it.
Don't apply two doses on same day.
Use up to 10 weeks only.
If problem, please consult your doctor immediately.
