Hello!
As far as the medicines, there is nothing wrong with that, even all of them (as prescribed at the times/amounts prescribed) usually with water, and food.

Remember, HYDRATION is important. Also SOUP is very good for a fever. Vitamins are wonderful as well. (Chewy kids vitamins) - You can start her on those up to twice a day, which can help build the immune system.

As far as the blood test. - YES. 100%! Because a blood test can reveal if it is just a "common virus" or if it is an Infection (Bacterial or other) or something like Dengue Fever or other foreign fevers/illness.

I agree 100% with your doctors, but reccomend the extras I said for you to do as far as hydration, vits, and soup!

I hope she feels better. As long as it stays under 100 for now after 05 days, that would mean she is getting better. If it is still going up and down to 102+ after 5-7 days (that can STILL be a simple virus) but it can mean should could have a TREATABLE Flu. She could have an H1N1 strand (which there are so many now, we can't count as they mutate)

so again - 100% YES, BLOOD TEST PLEASE.
Thanks
