Are My Cholestrol Reports Normal?

Hi,
My s.cholesterol is 386,s.tri-glycerides 133,h.d.cholesterol is70.12,LDLcholestrol is287.12,v.l.d.cholesterol is 28.76,total lipid 868.4.That is a cause of my concern.I am 32 years old only.first time gone for complete check up.rest all my reports are normal except this one.kind of confused what to do.

Thanks for writing to HCM

You are suffering from dyslipidemia(altered lipid profile).
You need few more investigations like random blood sugar(RBS),renal function test(RFT),complete liver function test,urine RE/ME,ultrasound of abdomen,ECG in all leads.

You should avoid red meat and high fat milk products.
You should avoid fried and junk food and avoid alcohol completely if you take it.

Medicines should be prescribed after complete investigations.
I suggest my patients to take tablet atorvastatin 10 mg at night after dinner.

You should increase your physical activity in the form of exercise and walking.
